October 18, 2014 (rain date October 19, cancelled if rain both days)

We will be doing another colorful tour of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the fall. This is an extensive run through some curvy, scenic roads up and over the mountains to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Anyone that loves to drive and look at beautiful scenery is welcome as the run is open to any year vehicle. Be sure your car is capable of the trip since the total distance round trip is approx. 215 miles (we haven’t had a breakdown yet) with lots of hills and curves. Here’s the plan; we will leave from Page Custom Rods and Restoration, 1091 Merchants Lane, Oilville, VA. at 8:30AM Saturday October 18. We will not use the Interstate for the outbound leg of the trip, hence the early departure time. We will take good, sound, but less travelled roads to the Parkway for a very scenic drive. We will then take the Parkway to Afton Mountain. We will stop for lunch west of Waynesboro at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. The plan for return is to just take I-64E for a quick run back home, however you may use the return home route of your choice. Just so we have some idea of the group size for the restaurant please drop me an email with your head count as well as the year, make, and model of your car to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Directions will be handed out prior to departure from Page Customs in case the group gets separated. Hope you can ride along!
